Humans are beings with no magic, regular, rounded ears and are equivalent to Homo sapiens in the real world. Fae are magical creatures. Elvin are a type of fae with tipped ears and are from Myera, who are familiar with magic, according to Amnis. Stella is half fae on her mother’s side and half human on her father’s side. Dragons are creatures of different types: Zyrus is a type of dragon, a wyvern, and Noxryn is a type of dragon, a draherian. Details on dragons are not plentiful in Starheart. There are creatures called mutts that look like fused animals. No information has been provided on mutts. Stella sensed something within the Altum Ocean when she remembered the ship wreckage that killed her mom. All that was provided was that it slithered and it clicked.

Inspiration for Starheart

Starheart is inspired by the world of Game of Thrones and Legend of Zelda. George RR Martin presents morally complex individuals who evolve over time in response to intense personal and political challenges. Characters like Jaime Lannister, Arya Stark, and Theon Greyjoy undergo significant growth, often in unexpected but believable ways. The show avoids simple good-versus-evil tropes, instead showing how power, trauma, and loyalty shape people’s choices and identities. Legend of Zelda excels in world-building, especially in Breath of the Wild. BOTW shines in world-building by letting players uncover Hyrule’s history organically through exploration, ruins, and environmental storytelling. Mythology, history, and recurring symbols across games create a cohesive, immersive universe. Because Link has lost his memory, players learn about the fallen kingdom and its people alongside him, deepening the emotional impact of discovery.
